High contrast black and white is all about light, shade, shape and pattern. But Melbourne’s streets are full of movement and colour, so I integrated both into this series called Noir.

“He was in my arms when he died, on a sunny day, in his own house that we built. He was looking into my eyes and we lay down. He took his two last breaths and he died in my arms. It was very quick. He’d said his goodbyes, said, “I love you”. It was an intense connection. It was a very powerful moment.” – Kylie
Transform
Focusing on those events and decisions that change who we are and how we see ourselves, this series is still being constructed. If you’d like to be one of the participants, please contact Pippa.
Melbourne, 2015
A little photobook of Melbourne and country Victoria shot in 2015, with both landscape and street photography.
Hipstamatic Melbourne
Melbourne 2010-11. An exploration using the immediacy of an iPhone and the Hipstamatic app, before phone cameras became ubiquitous and changed how an audience responds.
Melbourne
Melbourne, 2007-09. An investigation of interaction with strangers and the role of photographer as observer. A mixture of lush landscapes and street photography, this is my portrait of Melbourne.
Heterotopia
A re-examination of three cities, Melbourne Canberra and Sydney, using 35mm transparency film and colour filters, cross-processed and then printed as ilfochrome rather than type-C prints.
Calling Card
An investigation of queer identity, from first realisations to the impact of spirituality.
