Ageing in Australia: the Immigrant Experience

The Centre for Cultural Diversity in Ageing commissioned a 20 minute documentary. The documentary provides a rare insight into the experiences of older Australians from migrant backgrounds. Four people from four different ethnic backgrounds share their life journeys in Australia together with thoughts, feelings, hopes and fears about the challenges of ageing in this country.

Designed as an educational tool for aged care and related service providers, the production covers a range of themes and issues aimed at raising awareness with a view to enhancing the delivery of culturally inclusive care.
