In this series, I was interested in how people reacted to me as a photographer, the environment and to each other. I was reading about quantum physics at the time, and was fascinated by the role of the observer on influencing the outcomes of events, which is so explicitly the case in photography, even in street photography. The participants were strangers to me, but they were all aware of the camera when the shots were taken, and using a digital camera gave me the opportunity to show the participants the photographs on the spot. A mixture of street photography and lush landscapes, this is my portrait of Melbourne. Shot with a Nikon D70 and a Canon 5Di.
