Human Contact

“Everybody struggles at some point in their life, but the sun goes down, and then it comes up again. If you choose to disengage and stay in your black hole, at some point, the hole is going to swallow you. If you’re in a relationship, or with a group of people, there’s always an opportunity there for someone to reach out, or for you to reach out to them. I think human contact is undervalued and those are the moments in which communication is really significant.”

At Every Stage

“At every stage of my life, I’ve really wanted to excel at what I do. That’s a real inner driver for me. After losing my job and starting a new career, I’m now in a space where I’m an absolute beginner, and I find that really uncomfortable. I need to get out of that as soon as possible, no matter what it takes.”
